If your carrier is lagging behind try one of the leaked OS versions. 10.1 is a fine system. No need to keep waiting for your carrier.

Depends where you live for the official release. I'm in Toronto and got the update on the first day of BlackBerry Live when it was officially announced that the z10 would be getting 10.1 starting that day. In the US, they have not rolled out 10.1 yet but as the other poster suggested, try loading o e of the many leaks that are out. They are all working. Don't know which one is the best one. Perhaps others can answer that.

Too anxious?

It was promised for US by end of May and it still isn't here.

US customers being mad is hardly anxious. It is being reasonable. We were told a due date and it was not met.

So the carriers are supposed to push the official releases? If BBRY can "leak" them why not just overtly push them to everybody at once? Apple does that I think?

For some reason BlackBerry does not have the same power of control that Apple has with the individual carriers here in the US. But to clarify further, a leak is produced by BlackBerry but has not yet been officially adopted by a carrier. An official update has been adopted by a carrier. On my legacy BB7.1 device I have loaded many, many "leaked" updates without any issue. I have also loaded "official" updates by another carrier without issue.

Thank you for your reply. Say what you will about Apple,..they absolutely do not take any crap from carriers. I reckon Steve Jobs was adamant about not allowing the carriers to befoul the user experience.

Almost a week ago I was talking to BlackBerry Support and was told 10.1 would be out in "2 or 3 weeks.". Also that it would have USB sync to Outlook, which is my biggest concern.
