I think we can thank BlackBerry for this. Don't get me wrong, I have the Z30 and I love the prediction text.

I just think that BlackBerry does a horrible job in marketing their products and software.

I only use it with my two heaviest chatters, and for that it's amazing. As to why bbm as opposed to whatsapp, etc. I figure it's built into the phone, ensconced in the OS, so why NOT use it?

I have friends who use kakao, friends who use whatsapp, friends who use gchat...I mean they can't all be using their particular app because it's inherently the best, right? They can't all be the best. So I figure people use what they want, with very little analysis behind it.
