At the moment I am using my mum's old blackberry bold. I have recently created a blackberry ID, and downloaded bbm on my iPad. Everything was fine and it was all working, but now I have my blackberry, I would rather use bbm on there, so I updated it and entered my blackberry ID. I went on it and it says: "setting up bbm...". It stays on this for a while and then it says: "Connot set up bbm, a temporary bbm server error hs occurred, retry". I retried and retried but it still does the same thing over again, eventhough I am connected to wifi and have full signal! Is this happening because I already have bbm on my iPad? Could anyone help me with this problem???

Do you have a BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) plan for your BlackBerry?

Legacy devices, such as the Bold, require it to use services like BBM.

delete the apps and download again from BlackBerry world,and for bis you have to ask your carrier, in my country they charge me 5 usd /month here in malaysia

You can't delete BBM. I'm having same problem and I can't get it going. Says temporary server error...

You can upgrade via bbworld to Bbm channel. Unless you already have the latest version.
