I have upgraded to a Z10 from a curve 3G for about 3 months now, and it is absolutely great experience! 1 thing I found annoying is that previously on my curve 3G(OS6) I was able to send a broadcast message to a particular contact category of mu contacts(i seperate my contact between family, friends, co-worker, etc). Previously broadcasting to only my co worker were very easy but now in my z10, when sending a broadcast message I need to tap each person manually which is not efficient or select all which I dont want. Is there anything Im missing? Or the BBM in OS10 can't broadcast to a BBM group categories.

Could not find that option in my Z10 either. I did not notice you could do that with OS6. Guess I was not broadcasting that much with my 9800.

If blackberry want their user back to use BB handset, bring back the ability to send broadcast message to bbm category contact.
---- And don't update this feature in Android/iPhone version.

This is the MUST HAVE FEATURE in selling product, most of my friend are stuck with their old bb phone because of this feature is absent on BBOS10...

Why don't use BBM grup/Channel?? Come on, we want an ease to use feature, for some old fellow BBM channel are make dificult not efficient for selling product...

We are user, we want the simple things, there is no reason to buy BB Device, if the device can't fit our need. BB device is good buy not that good compare to Android/iOS facility. This is the power of BBM (Broadcast message!) And this is the basic feature that we NEED...

If BB scare that the broadcast message cause server overload because of this feature, then i think its time for BB to retired!!!

Bump. The new BBM update in the description says now it can do that but i cant find it to work..

Actually the new BBM allows you to do that. You need to swipe down to reveal the drop-down menu to select category, and then press 'select all' at the bottom of the screen. Works!
