Sent a message from my Q10 to an IPhone that had lock screen notifications message previews. I then retracted the message, but I am still able to read the message on the lock screen even after retracting it. Hopefully BlackBerry takes a look at this.

If BlackBerry was smart, they would update the lockscreen/chat with another, newer message that says "message retracted"

It's a limitation on IOS devices. Apple's notification system notifies the device which causes the popup. BBM can not process the message until the app has been opened.

Android cannot retract on notifcations... so therefore, iOS should be able to as well

A little research of how Apple's notification system works and their lack of true multitasking, and you'd understand why this occurs on their devices.
