I noticed when msging my friend on Bbm that his messages would always pop up above one that I already sent. It would always do it when the messages were close together in time and it was always 30 seconds behind. Last night we were hanging out and I looked at his phone and noticed his time was not set to "automatic".

BBM takes the time of when the person sent the msg and sorts it that way, so if you have different times than the system time (I'm sure it adjusts for time zones, but it must be synced to that time zone) then your msgs will be mixed up.

Yes, Bbm should automatically change the time on the device or at least give a warning when downloaded. So I will say it again:

Set your device time to automatic syncing if you're having problems with xbbm.

That is the only issue I have experienced and with this change it has been resolved.

That is great advice and i hope that it cures some of the lagging for other people.
