i've been promoting BBM among friends and convincing them to give it a try particularly highlighting BBM Channels.

problem is, i have been unable to add contacts who use iphones and android devices. the last time i was able to add a non-Blackberry contact was around a month ago (samsung note 2). since then i have been unable to do so. i am able to send and receive invites. BUT then i try to confirm by tapping the icon, NOTHING happens. same result for 3 androids and 2 iphone contacts. have also tried other methods like scanning the code but this also failed.

i first thought it probably was just the network but since then, i've been able to add instantly contacts using Blackberrys.

really difficult to continue trying to get people using other platforms to use BBM when i CAN'T even ADD them as contacts.

is anyone else experiencing the same problem? would appreciate very much any advice.

Sounds like an issue on your end. Reboot (hold the tob button till you see the BlackBerry loading screen).

thank you for replying! would this have a different effect than that of a battery pull? pulled the battery a few times. still couldn't add ios and android contacts.

We don't do pulls on BB10 devices, that' a thing from the past. If you need to pull, turn the device off first.

And to finally answer: It's exactly like the old battery pull, but without pulling.

I'm having the same issue. Can't add my wife who's using iphone 5 to my Q10.
