    So just wanted to point out that part of BBM network seems to be down before everyone starts freaking out again
    I have checked and BB services registration server is working absolutely fine.
    However, BBM is having difficulty associating with your BBID. You can check this by reinstalling BBM, and it will be stuck on "associating with your BBID"
    This will happen regardless whether you have BBM channels installed or not
    This has happened before in the past, and most of the time it is brief,
    If you are experiencing the following problems:
    1. Not able to receive and/or send messages successfully (grey check)
    2. BBM picture not updating
    3. Others not receiving your messages
    This is most likely the cause.
    Hopefully this will clear itself up in the next few hours

    Ah ok, so it's not just me. It's been this way for the past 8 hours or so!
    I think most people are just afraid to ask after this weekend, where it all just blew up because of rogue registration server
    I've seen at least 10 people with this issue today in various threads, and started experiencing it myself in the past 3 hours.
    Some people are not affected, others are, so I don't know whether this is a regional issue. Most of the people responding in my groups were outside of Canada or on the West coast (keep in mind they were hit 12 hours later with the issue this past weekend).
    I'll post back when I have more info.

    For all of you having problems, if you could post the following info, it may help me narrow down what exactly is wrong:
    1. OS
    2. Carrier
    3. BBM w/ channels or without
    4. Where are you located geographically
    From my speculation, there is nothing we can do at this point apart from wait, but with some data, I can probably figure out what exactly is wrong if anyone is curious.
    In my case, I'm in Montreal, with Telus, 10.2.1.1055 with channels. I've also tried without channels and same issue

    Seems to be more than just Canada this time then
    Used to be that channels would fix this issue, but I guess they may be doing some maintenance work
    This is more widespread than I suspected then :S
    Hopefully it will take care of itself before it collapse the infrastructure like in Oct 2011

    i experiencing problem because of this i guess

    now it's 16:59 +7:00 here in jakarta
    Z10STL100-1/10.2.1.1055
    my carrier is Telkomsel, with no data plan
    my data connection through wifi.

    email, whatsapp, browser, facebook, twitter, etc all working fine, the only problem is bbm. i can not send/received.

    Btw, my bbm on IOS connected through the same wifi network is working without problem.

    Trying to BBM person in USA (from the UK) with the above details. They are not receiving, Yesterday I was getting a tick and 'D', now I'm not getting the 'D' ... just a tick.
    All other contacts in the UK are receiving messages fine.

    My BBM has been our for several weeks. I am on a Z10 running 10.2.0.1055. My wife and her brother are also out. She is on an iPhone an she is on Galaxy S3. We are all on VZW in Georgia.

    We have all been our for about 10 days to 2 weeks or so.

    Mine is due to an issue with loading leaked .1055 and restoring backup files. Still don't know why my wife's iPhone and her brother's Galaxy S3 are down though.
