    Can someone tell me, if there is an option for voice or video calls in BBM if the person is capable of video calls?
    What I'm trying to say is, suppose I don't want to see the person because they are scary looking, but I do need to chat with them, is there an option to make a voice call rather than a video chat?

    Of course, just tap the green video call icon and it will give you a choice.
