How many people actually use BBM channels? I know the BBM Channel has over 1 million subscribers but that doesn't mean all of them actually use it.

Just curious since I know people that don't even notice it and I know people that love it.

Weren't you asking about premium listing for your site? I would think BlackBerry would provide paying advertiser some type of data to go along with their pricing. Were you ever able to contact anyone at BlackBerry?

Haven't gotten a reply yet. A friend of mine tells me that in order to get approval for advertising you have to be a business with a good amount of popularity.

If that's true, it's kinda disappointing that BlackBerry would have a policy like that. I understand the importance of bigger brands for Channels' success but ad revenue is just as sweet, whether it's coming from a big or small business.

As for the original question, I absolutely love Channels! I'm subscribed to 30 channels of which 25 post actively. The only thing that irks me about it is the abundance of spam comments (PIN spamming, girls/guys going off topic to BS, etc). The platform itself has been made well and is engaging when the channel admins put in an effort.

Having to deal with spam and off topic comments can be a real hassle but I still do it. Hope BlackBerry implement an anti-spam plugin or something.

Maybe they'll release a number when they announce the financial report.
