I personally do not care, but as a BBM user I thought it could be a good point in the USA if the NSA can't read your BBM messages, I know this is a silly point, but some people take it seriously. So yeah, can the NSA read BBM messages?

They have put millions of dollars... or billions? for snooping on people...
Even if they couldn't, they would have figured out a way to get every detail out of our phones.
Probably that's why the guys at US don't want BlackBerry to succeed.... and they themselves use BlackBerry for securing their communication...although with a private network.
