    The last few times I've gone to change my picture on bbm it has come out looking really low quality (at least on my screen). The picture before being uploaded is fine, obviously. Anyone having similar trouble or have any solutions?

    tap on the picture and request HD copy. Most pictures I get I don't need HD. So don't need to use that data for nothing. Im glad BB does it that way. BBM is awesome. No need to change the way they send pictures.

    I appreciate the fact that it does have the ability to compress but why not provide the option to toggle between "Accept HQ by default" or "Accept only compressed"? Data limits are increasingly becoming less of a concern for most people all over the world, and consequently the by-default compressed images are becoming a pain in the ***.

    This isn't what OP is talking about. But they need to stop compressing the pictures while sending them. A Lot of users here stopped using BBM because of it and now using Whatsapp instead.

    Anyway, there isn't a way to fix the dp quality in bbm. It's gonna blur out

    OP is talking about the display picture not the attached pictures in chat.
