I'm not an enterprise customer. I lost the ability to video-chat with another Z10 user.

I got a Z10 STL 100-3 release 10.2.1.3062, with Rogers as a cellular providers, Wi-Fi with Bell Fibe.

With 6 contact only 2 are BlackBerry 10 owner, the 4 other ones are IPhone Android and windows users

I can video chat with only one BlackBerry Q10 owner. With the other Z10 owner I see only BBM Meeting sticker.

Is there any possibility BBM will offer FREE Video-chat to all operating system or should I concentrate on Skype?

I convince 4 contacts to download BBM, no video.... unfortunately

It seems I'll have to use Skype!

I just went through my list of BBM contacts and every single bb10 user gives me option for video chat, about 2 dozen.
Maybe yours have bbm calls over mobile network disabled or haven't updated their BBM past the versions from fall 2014 where it was disabled for?

The 2 Z10 have the latest BBM version and we're unable to video-chat on both ways (wi-fi or radio) ...

I installed Skype and we're able to video-chat on both (Wi-Fi or radio). It works on android and BlackBerry.

    So ciao BBM !

If you have BBM voice/video call issue and If you have installed Max Mobile Security, uninstall and resolve this issue! Perform deep reboot after uninstalling MMS.

Perhaps try disabling all background apps to see if any are influencing this behavior. If it resolves the issue, enable one at a time until the offender is identified. Good luck.

I won't re-install all software. I got pro version and don't want to pay back those one.
I re-install BBM, and will try back once to video-chat tonight.

That's not what was suggested, but... ok...

I think it was stated to disable the permissions for apps that run in the background to see if any one of them can be the culprit by process of elimination. Not to reinstall all of your apps. And even if you did, you would not lose the ability to re-download apps that you have paid for already. Just sign in using your BBID and check available apps.

You can't uninstall/reinstall BBM. You can upgrade via BBW or BZ if you have an older version installed. However, it's also possible to overwrite the application files using a tool like Sachesi or similar.

    Good luck!

After I re install Bbm on the Z10. I notice that I got two different chat with the other Z10 owner.
Both Z10 users are also PlayBook users, and somehow there is two chat open for each other, one from the PlayBook and one from the Z10. Overall if I use my Z10 I can video-chat with the Z10 pin number but not the PlayBook pin number. But from my PlayBook tablet I can video-chat wit the z10 and the PlayBook. Curious!

I guarantee you that BlackBerry 10 to BlackBerry 10 video chat is flawless. if you are video chatting with the PlayBook that is no longer supported you'll have mixed results for sure.

And Skype is the alternative but definitely not worth the battery drain.

Skype does drain resources, a fact. But it drain resources allowing you to chat across all operating system, which BBM don't offer.

Voice chat and texting is crossplatform. The clarity in sound for voice chat is amazing. I don't think Skype gets that kind of sound quality. The only video chatting they offer for crossplatform is with bbm meetings currently. Hope they bring 1to1 video to consumers soon.
