    Found this article really interesting.
    I think it would be an awesome idea to market BBM as a very secure messenger in the wake of all the government interference that's going on. Also it mentions that BBM protected and all other BlackBerry services should be free on BlackBerry devices which may make people to switch to BlackBerry. BBM was the selling point of BlackBerry once. It could make it happen again.

    I agree with you. There is a huge untapped demand for secure communication even in the consumer space. I don't know why blackberry is ignoring this outside of BES.
