    Hi,
I was wondering me how to make bbm more secure for our company.

At the moment we are using bbm out of the box. So no bes10

The first question is, how secure is that?

The 2nd is, when i want to use bes10 I need a windows server.
It is possible to run a windows server on a Mac using parallels for example.
Then connect all the blackberrys that we have on the bes10 and then it's done?

    Thanks

Nearly. BBM protected is an additional feature on BES that has to be activated in the policies. And it's not 'free', you have to by additional licenses for BBM protected on top of the BES licence

If you don't have Windows, you could always try BES10 Cloud Market Preview. Free until end of March 2015.

Market preview doesn't currently support bbm protected. Wait for BES 12. I was told they will support "a lot more" with the new cloud product.

I didn't realize it's $30/year (News: BlackBerry aims to monetize BBM Protected, $30/year after free 30 day trial | CrackBerry.com)

I'd really like to see Blackberry integrating this as a free addition into their existing suite of services.
I'd love to see them give Passports out for free, too, but it wouldn't be a very sustainable business model...
