    how can I tell if a contact deleted me off bbm,knowing that I don't want to message them. I cant tell because obviously their picture and name are still there. But they always posted a status almost everyday and its been missing for a good 4 days. Is there anyway I could find out without messaging them?

    If they delete you, then they are automatically deleted from your contact list.

    If the contact's still there, then they haven't deleted you. Either (s)he is out of status-es or EXTREMELY busy.

    Or... that person has deleted BBM. And the only way to find out if that's the case is to send a message and see if it's delivered. And if it's not delivered, it could also be the case that that person's phone is off, dead, stolen, fell in liquid, run over by a car or other reasons that one's phone wouldn't function.

    In Indonesia, some of us periodically broadcast to all contacts with message 'test contact, do not reply ' to find out which contacts are no longer connected to ours.

    Or if you want to be more subtle, just broadcast certain random useful health tips to all contacts and observe which ones are no longer connected to our BBM.
