I use a bold 9900 and my wife has the latest curve before bb10 was installed.

We both have latest os installed.

Yesterday, a bunch of apple and android friends added me to their new BBM for their devices and they added my wife.

They can send me messages but my messages to them are delivered with an X so they are not getting to them. Is anyone aware of an issue?

Mt wife has no such issues on her phone.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Exactly the same issue with my 9900 on 7.1. I just posted a similar thread about this. The one exception is that mine seems to be working fine with Android users. iPhone users can send me messages and I receive them, but I can't send anything back. Just keep getting the red X. My BB is on a work/government BES - are yours?

What version of BBM are you running? I think there was an update a few months ago to support BBMX.

6.2.0.56 ... BES admin controls the updates, sadly.

I had a contact who couldn't BBM any bb10 phones from his BlackBerry Bold. Deleting and reinstalling BBM solved it.

Update: I deleted BBM (6.2) via the app manager last night and figured my BES would push it back out to me overnight, which it didn't do. So this morning, I thought I was going to have to call my BES admin to have BBM pushed out again. In the meantime, I opened Facebook, and it prompted me to install BBM, so I followed the link, thinking the download would fail (since we don't have app download rights), but it worked! I now have 7.0.1.23 AND I can successfully send and receive BBMs to/from iPhone users.
