Its, well, kinda a boring read lol

They point out all the obvious hills that BBM have to climb and really dont comment much on how the BBMx app actually performs. More just how the rise of BBM and now the fall

The fall of bbm! It's backwards day adding 20 000 000 users in a week means rip.

What an obvious hatchet job. Comparing monthly active users with registered users, dragging up riots, linking BlackBerry to robberies, attacking BBM security while failing to mention the shortcomings of its competitors.

If they'd pulled this crap with Apple there'd have been lawyers on the phone within minutes.

Whole thing smacked of an advertisement for WhatsApp.

It's pretty hilarious and pathetic. Presumably it was written mostly before the useage figures came out, and they were anticipating a failure.

I've noticed quite a bit of anticipated failure along those lines - "well I don't use BBM, therefore nobody does! Too little too late!"

I've also noticed that people seem to think the initial figures are the only downloads it's going to get.

    Like this one:
But, there are a few problems with the 10 million number… It doesn’t yet put BBM as a platform back into a strong growth position. The latest figures put BBM users at 61-million of BlackBerry’s total worldwide user-base of 76-million. With the additional 10-million new users, it’s up, but still nowhere close to the top three.
Here’s the problem with BBM for Android and iPhone | memeburn

Presumably they'll soon be saying things like "100 million users sounds good, but it's nowhere near Whatsapp's figure..." "150 million users? too little too late RIM! Whatsapp has 375 million!" "200 million users? Pfft, whatsapp has 390 million!"
