I assume that is BBM? Mine still has groups with no update available. I've always wanted to make use of BBM but I've never known anyone who uses it.

Yes it's bbm and it received an update today
If u don't see the update go to bbw - my world - installed then go to bbm don't hit open! And you'll see the update

On my Z, I want groups there 😑 .. hmm, actually, the contacts screen is updated.. I'll have to check it out first.

Yes but don't use it so much!
And the chat is always available so no need for the group itself

The group I frequent the most is my family group - mainly for lists, calendar and pictures.

You can view all contacts from the chat screen as well, by tapping the icon in the top right corner. I usually use this as opposed to the contacts screen. I don't like the (old) contacts screen because I can't collapse the sections or type a username > hit enter to open chat

Agreed. Because in some cases, a user like myself may want chats, groups and channels..
I understand that BlackBerry wants to spam me with ads in feeds, but if I'm using channels heavily.. what's wrong with the featured channel section?
