So with emoticons I choose one, it apears in the text box and then I can add more text or send it, etc.

With stickers when I choose the stickee it is sent right away but then I have to close the action bar manually by hitting the keyboard icon? Not very consistent and it also takes so much screen space on my Q1O...

Not to sound like a jerk, but if you don't like them, don't use them...and then again i don't want to sound like a jerk, because I too think they're too big and i'd love to be able to use them like emoticons i.e like you said, being able to right something along a sticker.

I think they're stupid and virtually pointless. All I wanted was slightly bigger faces in the chat box. Oh I got it alright. Stickers. Really. It's like we're kids. I hate them.

I'm actually ok with them (they'll make a nice emphasis every now and then ) My OP was focused on the different ways you insert emoticons and stickers.
