Have you and your friend tried deleting each other and then reinviting?

Ok I just did some testing. I was able to send and receive pictures with both Android and iOS contacts. Now with iOS contacts there WAS a bit of a delay, but Android to BB was smooth a silk. And BB to iOS DID work for me.
