I received a bbm pin from a friend of the person, and would like to see the profile of the person before I add them to my contacts.

There isn't really a profile to look at, since BBM is more or less just an IM client. It isn't like Facebook where chat is an ancillary feature.

If you aren't seeing a profile picture already, you'll get to see it (if they have set one) when you accept the invite. Same with status messages (available, busy, custom messages, etc.) and maybe what they're listening to if they have that status feature turned on.
