    the new update make my handheld still freezing and hot battery please fix it blackberry, the update now make me frustration then i down grade bbm v7 again. please fix it !

    i downloaded BBM8 yesterday, since then i'm having issues with the BBM app and performance of my device.

    I'm using a 9220.

    last night I tried to send few chat massages and the app stopped responding, I fully charged the phone before going to sleep. by the morning the battery is dead. after starting it showed me a massage something like an error on a rim module which looked like BBM.

    moreover a group which I used to network with office colleagues also disappeared from yesterday.

    Looks like this release build of version 8 of BBM is too bloated for low end BBOS phones. Lots of people with Curve phones on here are complaining of how slowly it runs and how it kills their phone.

    Bold users probably won't notice, I don't on my Torch 9860.

    Let's hope there's some quick optimisations BlackBerry can roll out fast to help low end phones get some speed back.

    The new bbm is jst awesome. Only problem I have though is the best reference content stuff. Its annoying deleting it all the time

    Anyone care to test this? I tried shrinking it to make it less bloated, so if someone will try it and let me know if it runs different than the one from app world thanks.
