    I own Z10 but BBM doesn't work when my phone is connected to wifi. Why is that???

    Some countries do block BBM.

    If you see the BlackBerry logo in the upper-right side of your display, then BBM should work.

    If you do not see that logo, you may have some issue with your internet connection. If it works over the carrier network but not WiFi, there could be configuration issues with the WiFi network equipment.

    Do you get a "Limited Connectivity" message ever?

    Yep he is right. Some countries do block BBM. Otherwise it would work.

    I had my brother in chicago area call me on his Samsung S-4 using BBM while he was driving. I thought you had to be on a WIFI on both ends to use BBM calling? I am in a WIFI zone on my Q10 he was driving down the road!

    Is this normal or something New?

    Some carriers allow BBM voice on their network, some don't and require wifi

    There is a configuration option in BBM to allow or disallow BBM calls over carrier internet. I don't know if that was present in all BBM Voice enabled builds, or just recent ones. See the bottom of the screenshot below.

    Same here.. doesn't have to do with carriers!
    If wifi is ON, bbm sometimes doesn't work well

    Sometimes it depends on the local provider, signal and data package too...
