My wife has a Galaxy S3 and she's about to dump bbm for one simple reason - when a chat is open with someone no notifications are received when the other party makes a new post?!...Tried with a friend's bbm on iOS the other day, same story.

This renders bbm useless for her as whenever she has a chat open with me and she puts her phone down, bbm app open, she'll never know if I messaged her unless she picks up the phone to look at it. Looked everywhere for notification settings but I think it's a bbm issue. S3 is on 4.3

Yeah. The BBM I run on my Android doesn't perform very well either. Lack of notifications is the biggest thing.

I was one of the ones that couldn't wait for it to get released for Android and iOS, but it never worked as well as on my old 9900. Most of my contacts have stopped using BBM altogether, and I've been thinking of just deleting it altogether. It really doesn't have a use anymore. Not with its limitations.
