Hi ya all!

I have discovered it before i guess but now it is getting really annoying Typing on BBM isn't really fast at all in the new version but when I use emoticons it is getting terribly slow

How can I recommend such a slow software to others? It makes it even hard for me to use it in the future.

Anyone else discovered similar problems?

I am using a Z10 STL-2 with BB OS 10.2.2 (Germany/Telekom) with BBM 10.2.2.1531.

Hi menshawy,

i took 3 screenshots. The first one of CPU directly after typing in BBM, the second is the CPU over the last 12 hours and finally my memory usage.

I noticed the same. It started some time on 10.2.1 and still from time to time there is a huge input lag when using the keyboard in bbm.

However after a few minutes the issue seems to dissappear.

I am having these problems since first 10.2.0 leaks. It's related to device language. If you are using language with special characters, it's expected that you will have these problems. Currently Czech, Slovak and Polish is documented by BlackBerry but after almost 10 months still not fixed.

Seems that BBM is not over consuming on your phone. I don't have issues on 10.2.2 or 10.2.1 before and I used English, Czech and Arabic together even.

Now it is the second day after I rebooted my device and it is still quite good

Maybe a reboot is sometimes necessary :/

I have the same issue!

I'm typing in Polish where weird signs ar? common and BBM on my Z10 also lags. I saw 2 sentences being typed with a delay on my screen like I was watching a tutorial-video. Very silly.

I hope that BlackBerry fix it because it's a shame. Especially when I've read today that BBM is the safest of all internet - mobile -communicators. IT should also be acceptably quick...
