Hi there! Does anybody kindly know anything about BB7.1 & BBM new relations? I've got old '9380' with the newest software (including update of BB ID). I'm trying to set up BBM on it. I have no BIS. The only I have is wi-fi internet connection. BlackBerry World works very well. I can instal and delete apps. But why BBM doesn't work? Set up is impossible. BB ID does not let us use BBM over the wi-fi only? Thanks in advance for your all kind responses to this BBM problem.

On the BBOS phones, I believe you need a connection to BIS to use BBM. Just having a wifi connection isn't enough. This changes when you move to BB10.
