    The Channels idea is a good one. With the addition of BBM chat the system continues to improve. So far so good. We shall see...

    BBM Channels is a cool new feature. I've been using it since they put it in Beta Zone. I check it often, and it's become like a second twitter feed for me. I don't have a channel, because only a couple friends of mine have BBM, but I subscribe to Channels and think BBM has the potential to become something even bigger.

    With BBM Channels, BBM will continue to make iMessage look terrible.

    It's definitely a nice addition to bbm, it'll get easier to discover new people and hopefully turn into a reliable news outlet (maybe delete some news apps?). Especially with the chat feature, once this gets out of beta and onto other platforms it will be pretty attractive to everyone.
