I would definitely argue that if there were a KB option for an iPhone that sales would increase even over what they are now. I give Verizon credit that they released the Droid and Eris at the same time to give consumers choice.
Bottom line is, that's what consumers want: Choice. Even more so then lower prices. Time and time again it has been shown that consumers will pay top dollar, if a product is to their liking.
The iPhone would be no different. Release the iPhone 3Gx/4G or whatever the **** it's called. Release it in two forms, w/ physical KB and without. If they were also able to release on multiple carriers, they would make a KILLING. Profits would go UP 80%, not down.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | Exactly. I don't see how anyone can argue about Apple releasing 2 devices with one having a keyboard. It would help them because all those that just don't go to a touch screen device would now consider an iPhone. It's about appealing to a broader audience. I'd probably have both of them if they came out with 2 devices LOL.
