Just did a WHOIS search on "aheum.com" and it comes back to a registrant called Megapolitan Network in Jakarta, Indonesia. Hmmmm. Better thoroughly check this software before installing!!!!

Viruses are one thing. You've got some very clever software engineers in Jakarta. It wouldn't surprise me in the least bit if this turned out to be a hacked version that contains malicious code users may be unaware of.... It would be real easy for them to send your personal phone data via the cellular data connection. Maybe even install something on your PC when you sync.

I guess that goes for all beta versions that come through unknown sources...

I'm in a conspiracy theorist mood today...

Believe it or not, they actually have mobile phone operators in Jakarta that sell Blackberry's. See here: XL- Nyambung Terus

And, Jakarta is quite metropolitan.

I have heard before that 174 was a beta. so I am hoping this is legit. I got the link through someone earlier today and they were able to download right away with no issues. that was at 11 am eastern. I sent them directions to upload it to megaupload for me so hopefully when they wake up (it was 11 pm for them) they will send me the link. if this link doesnt take all day
