Leaked OS 5.0.0.1041 For The BlackBerry Storm 9530 Fixes and Findings

BlackBerry Storm 9530 owners, you're in luck as well. The same OS, 5.0.0.1041 has leaked for your device. Again, it's a leaked OS so be sure to back up your data before loading it up. Also, be sure to drop some comments here or in the CrackBerry forums about what, if anything is new within the OS itself so that others may know. Enjoy folks, this one has been a while coming.

NIS 2011 didn't have an issue with the download.

thats what I have and it kicked it back I DLed from the first post that had a mirror site....maybe that was the issue...

I was able to dl it ok also. I have not installed it yet, but it looks to be good.

Try this link and then get it from about middle of the page. You will see a check mark followed by Berry CN.com and the OS name. The file should be slightly over 137mb in size.

I downloaded from http://dl.dbank.com/c0q1gnd5hx and then clicked on the link BerryCN.com_9530hwEastAsia_PBr5.0.0_rel1688_PL4.2. 0.456_A5.0.0.1041.exe and made sure the check box was checked.

Downloaded clean, and passed a Virus scan. Looks okay.

Everything OK here also. DL'd and installed to computer without any problems. Need to do my backup before installing to phone.
