| | 5.0.0.314 and random reboots!!! (is there a fix anywhere)
ok so, so far I totally give this leaked beta two thumbs up!!!. My only complaint is the random reboots, so far I have had 4 of them, One happened when I was setting my alarm clock. The second one happened when holding down the A/* button to lock the keyboard. One just randomly happened when using the bb browser viewing m.crackberry.com and the last one just happened when making a phone call. I can see the last 2 having to do with network connectivity issues, but not sure about the first too. Overall I give this build a A score, plus i love the menues and everything about it. Also memory is pretty equal to 4.6.0.288.

That's odd. I've been running .323 since the morning it released and haven't had any reboots. Have you tried wiping and reinstalling the OS? If not I'd backup, wipe, reinstall, don't install any apps or your backup from DM, then try to do the same things you were doing when it rebooted (like going to m.crackberry.com). If it doesn't reboot try adding back your apps slowly, and be selective about your restore from DM.

My friends. the problem is with multimedia card. Simply go to options - memory - menu botton - format. that should do the work. i did it, pull the battery, let it restart and done. 24 hours straight working like a charm, havent restart it yet since i did it.

Move your content off your memory card to the pc. Go into each folder and find and delete each .dat file. Probably one per folder. Reformat the card, then move your content back to it. Should do ya.

i just formated mine, ddnt put anything back on it.
my ringtones (exept the carrier one, movistar) were nto working, and i had no sounds whatsoever, until i did this.
i then, went to the bb browser, loaded www.crackberry.com, and started refreshing as soon as it finished loading it.
the bold slowed down a lot, stoped responding for a minute in one of the reloads, and finally REBOOTED like with a battery pull.
the previous reboots i had suffered, where like "fast reboots", it rebooted really fast, and al the programs were opened already.
EDIT: my bold JUST rebooted AGAIN, like with a battery pull, when i was typing this and not using it AT All
EDIT2: another one

Haven't had any issues on my Bold. Maybe you have an installed app that is causing this. Maybe do a Secure Wipe....like delete everything off your phone and see if that helps.
When I install a beta OS, I always wipe the phone first.

Just upgraded to 314 last night. In the first hour, I got several random reboots, but after that it seems to be working fine. No problems, and I have about a dozen apps installed. Going on almost 15 hours now without a reboot.

I dont know if this was the problem but i noticed that after i reinstalled visual voicemail when i didnt see it there after upgrade to .314. I had visual voicemail showing up in the applications section one under third party and one under core. i went into BBSAK and deleted the CODS for VVM and rebooted. now i still have my VVM and its now just listed under core apps and i havent had a restart since hopefully stays that way
