Trying to come up with MinuteBeep kind of app

Hello Awl,

Me a newbie in bb world.
I wanted some application that can beep every minute while I am on call. But could not find any.

Now I am thinking upon writing the app myself. Need views/advice from senior members. I know java, and when i looked at some docs, i could think of a prototype of program(though a very small one!).
