Default Installing component packs

I have Eclipse and the plugin installed which also installed the 4.6 component pack. I'm now trying to install the other component packs and the installer is telling me that I need JDK 1.5 or higher. I have JDK 5.0 installed.

The PC is running Vista 64 bit so I installed the 64 bit version of the JDK. Could that be a problem? The PC has 2 windows system directories. One for legacy 32 bit related things and one for 64 bit. I'm about to try downlaoding and installing the 32 bit JDK, but not sure if it will even run seeing as how Java has provided bot 32 bit and 64 bit versions of it.

Does any have any experience with this sort of thing? I just need the installers to find the JDK that I know is installed.

Thanks
