Default Visual voicemail issue

I installed the vvm app about two weeks ago. It functioned flawlessly until three days ago. It is not displaying any new voicemails (and they are not displayed anywhere else on the phone) and whenever I choose the option from the menu to check for new messages, I get an error message pop up saying "incomplete xml would you like to call your mailbox now?". The first time this happened I uninstalled vvm, reinstalled the app, did a battery pull and it came back up with the same issues of not retrieving any new vm's. Has anyone else experienced this issue and how is it resolved? Any ideas?

I have this same issue. I only found one other person who had the same problem in the BB support forums. He stated that he had to call verizon, make them DELETE his VM box, then re-build it. From there, he re-set it up and then it worked again. I have yet to try this, but I'm going to have to soon, as I'm no longer notified when I get VMs.

i deleted the app through app center on the phone.

rebooted when it asked.

reinstalled through app center on the phone.

re-entered PIN.

good to go!

Make sure when it asks to set permissions, you do it then and there and SAVE it. Uninstall it through:

Options > Advanced Options > Applications > VVM > BB Button > Delete

Reboot when it asks, then let it do it's thing!

I had the same issue. VZW Tech support wanted to delete my voicemail box & start fresh. I asked several times for another option and finally they said they could reset the notification through their system but it may not fix the issue.

Well so far the notification reset is working pretty well. I think the longest delay I've had so far has been 1 minute since the reset vs. up to 10hrs prior to the reset.

If you have vm's you're trying to save or need to save in vm (as I do) ask them to reset your notification and submit a trouble ticket so you get a tech to check up with you a day or 2 later to make sure everything is working right

Default same problems, no solution

I'm having the same probs. everything was working fine, then I started getting errors about incorrect passwords and xml.

I uninstalled/reinstalled to get it working for a few minutes, but then it started. Again.

Any ideas?

I had this happen today and complete with the same xml message. It took two calls to tech support and finally the second guy got it fixed- although he told me there was a major network problem in Houston which was affecting voicemail, visual voicemail, caller ID, etc.
