Some people will go to Verizon for this phone and some will not. Verizon benefits from the exclusivity. For those that will not go to Verizon, they can wait for the phone to come to other carriers or buy the phone from outside the country. Either way, RIM still makes the sales. |
Excellent point. I couldn't agree more. My wife and I will be switching to VZW from Tmobile and I know there will be a lot of others who will do so too. And then there will be the ones who won't and who will buy it overseas or wherever and have them unlocked. Personally I feel better having one from the carrier with insurance. At least I know that if anything happens, I can always go into the store and it can be looked at and even swapped out, if need be. You can't do the same when you buy an unlocked one. Trying taking a Storm in to AT&T for repair or whatever and see what happens.
Either way, whether or not you will use the Storm on VZW, TMO, or AT&T, we will all have a wonderful phone that I think we will all enjoy!
