Depends on S2 changes. The big reasons I chose Storm was mem cards and battery swapping. The experience has been frustrating so far. Sure it has everything and the kitchen sink thrown in, but nothing done well.

Wife has the 3G and its sweet. I think its a matter of time before Apple does all the biz apps that RIM hangs its hat on, and Apple will likely do them way better. They usually do.

I think the iphone brand has the potential to surpass the hype with the follow up to the 3GS.

Yeah, agreed. The storm is a great phone, and I'm sure the storm 2 will be even better, but they REALLY need to add openGL support.

Even if they don't add it, and I lose faith in bb, I STILL won't go to an iphone. NEVER EVER.

F apple.

Kinda hard to answer since we don't know the specs of either device OR when/if they will both be on Verizon. But, if it were now and I had the choice based on the current specs of both devices, I would probably go with the iPhone, assuming that the call quality issue with the iPhones is due to AT&T and would go away on Verizon. I like my Storms a LOT, but RIM needs to make some upgrades on Storm 2 for me to think about doing it again.

Iphone...easy. The third party apps alone justify it for me. Sure we can multitask with our Storms, but typing an email and playing one of the crappy games or using one of the many useful third prty apps may be a deal breaker, the iphone is a good device. I am not an apple fan boy, but the iphone is a wicked device. It reaches way further than anything vzw offers and that is undisputable. I am with vzw for the network only....the iphone would be a hit on vzw too...just like it is on at&t's substandard network.

Iphone, for sure, at least right now. Maybe storm 2 will be revolutionary (I highly doubt)

I wouldn't get either. I'd stick with Storm 1 until something newer came out with WiFi and a kickass qwerty.

Probably Storm 2
I love my BB and it's a must for work but there are some medical apps out for the iphone that we just don't have for the Storm that may sway me.

There is no comparison, between these two, blackberry's will never work right!
Blackberry has been doing this for how many years and have problems
1. Truncated emails way too soon (like hotmail) (blackberry is aware and trying to fix this for over a month now) (this should not have been happening with any email service, blackberry's are known for email).
2. Can not show some HTML emails properly.
3. Crappy radio's (so the other blackberry's most likely have the same crap)
4. Very poor and slow web browsing.
5. Reboots randomly at times (especially if it does not like a OS)
6. Component quality issues (some storms perform differently with certain OS's) (this alone shows the crap they are making)
7. Screen goes bright and dim randomly (most likely due to 6 and 8) .
8. OS's keep coming but nothing major at all out of them, a little faster (I mean little) but are now taking out options (ability to assign a button to the call log, color banding now)

With all of these major issues I do not know why anybody would want any blackberry! But to each their own! Samsung Omni II in a month or so looks good at least until the iPhone comes!
