Some questions:
1.) Does the Blackberry Storm have an accelerometer? (I cannot find this anywhere in the specs). This would be needed as shown in the movie, to detect movements of the phone.
2.) Does it support C++ development? Or is it Java only like the G1.
3.) Is it fast enough with rendering and floating point calculations.
*googling a bit*
Seems like it does support C++, so that's good.
CPU seems good enough as well to jiggle the boobs etc At least I hope so, the CPU speed seems ok, but that doesn't say it all yet. As it needs to be fast enough with floating points (numbers with something behind the comma).
But now the OpenGL support (to render the 3D model). I cannot find anything about this. I wonder if it actually supports 3D rendering? It doesn't seem to appear inside the GL benchmarks.
Anyone has some more infos?
Are there other 3D apps out there for this phone?
I don't think it actually supports OpenGL, although that doesn't directly have to be a problem.
But if there are no other 3D apps (that show more than just a few boxes), then it will most likely not be possible. Anyone got any info about this? Are there any other 3D apps already?
Would be great to port it over to the BB of course, even if it is just to make a statement to Apple. Sorry for being such a phone n00b though
Also can those apps be sold somehow? Like through an appstore, or how does this go on the BlackBerry? As I will probably have to buy a phone if its possible to port iBoobs to it. I guess it would then be called bbBoobs
Cheers everyone | It does have an accelerometer. It's dual-core CPU is more than enough to do rendering with floating points. While the hardware does support OpenGL, I don't think the OS has an API for it. I'm not sure. Quote:

3. yes | While it is Java, it's also built on C/C++. So, it does support C++. I think RIM doesn't allow developers to use C++. Prevents people from f'ing up the ROM.
