Default How to conserve battery life?

On .148, the Storm eats up half of my battery in 8 hours. How can I conserve it more? I have the brightness on the lowest setting already.

There are tons of things, dont use GPS apps or apps that update every 15, 30, 45 minutes. turn off bluetooth.

In the end if you are gettin 16 hours on a charge that is not terrible by any means if you read some complaints on here

If u use year storm a lot there's really nothing u can do. Maybe try closing programs rather than letting them run in the background
A second battery ... That's the route I took. Found one oem on ebay for 10 bucks.

Go into the screen options and change the backlight brightness to about 20%. Change the backlight on setting to 10 seconds. Go into the network settings and set the network technology only to 1xEV. Turn off bluetooth.

Close apps you don't need. Don't use the browser unless you really need to.

And I strangely have the opposite experience with my battery life on .148 from .75. Battery charges much faster to full and lasts longer.

I'm happy if my Storm makes it through a single business day. Battery usually has about 30% by the time I get home from work. The only app I use that auto-updates is Google Sync but I don't want to have to sync manually.

I also noticed, based on suggestions on other threads related to this, that changing the "network technology" setting (under options>mobile network) to 1XEV works. It helped me.
