the first thing you need to do is retrace your steps and tell what the last thing you were doing was prior to getting the error.

Maybe in the future if RIM steps up their game I'll consider owning one again, but as it is right now, they just aren't competitive in the user market, and they never really have been. Theyre good at what they do, which is push E-mail but that's about it. Time will tell.

i wasnt doing anything out of the norm before i wiped it out. was trying to figure out why i have no web browser but i didnt change any setting or anything. I just decided to wipe the phone out with the sim card. i had AT&T service before the wipe but after it was done and put my AT&T sim card back in, it doesnt pick anything up

maybe its just me but i leave my sim card in the phone for everything i do to it.... OS installs, wipes etc.
perhaps a storm IS re-lockable after all? i know that doesnt sound right. but its the first thing that comes to mind even though its contrary to everything ive learned about it.

Once unlocked, always unlocked. Did you do a backup before wiping? If you did, you probably can restore it through DM.

it HAS to have something to do with me wiping out the phone with the sim card OUT. im convinced...because ive wiped the phone out before with the sim card IN and there wasnt a problem
