Same problem used to happen to me using Google Talk app when I was running .75 -- basically, if you're having the same problem I was, you're running out of app memory, which freezes up the device and causes the required reboot. Even if it's not the same problem, there are about a 1000 other reasons to update your OS regardless...and it will probably help fix your issue. | thanks to all for the input i guess i will take the plunge and upgrade  have a great night all
