Default pics of my bold after 4 hours on highway-crushed

Very sad...Left it on my bumper and drove off to mountain bike...expensive ride...

Went to the curve 8900...no more bold..dont care of 3g and got sick of the big heavy phone...also the dropped calls of 3g to 2g hand off...loved it as a device but after my 3rd one I'm done.

1st 2 went bad and this refurb lasted me the longest..

pics are clear of course cause i took them on my 8900

So it stayed on your bumper while you drove? At which point did it actually get run over and when did you notice?

How did you find it on the highway though? Seems like it would be almost impossible to find....espically after 4 or 5 hrs.

The Bold IS a way better phone than the 8900. All you're doing is justifying the reasons for your carelessness which are pretty absurd like the Bold being "big and heavy"......now c'mon!!!!!

I don't like to get into the device vs device argument, but I agree 100% with
the above statement.

The new OS's fix that by allowing you to choose between 2G or 3G & 2G

I could have bought another bold and chose to buy an 8900. I talk alot on the phone like 4000 minutes a month and got very sick of 3g call quality and dropped calls in san diego.

I loved my bold but got tired of carrying it around, especially with my big seido extended battery. Huge and heavy.

I am so far liking the 8900 and it does feel a bit cheaper in the build quality but so much nicer to carry around and talk on etc.

I am trying to not be so addicted to the thing and so if 8900 is lesser than great so be it...

I have no problems with wifi on 8900, poynt and seamless transition to it from bold via destop mgr.

ALMOST went to the dark side and got the Iphone 3gs but type to many messages and would be on it all the time which isnt good for de stressing out of the office.

I'll get the ONYX some day I am sure..
