Default OS v4.6.0.150 for the BlackBerry Bold

Hey Folks,

We can make this the official thread for the latest Bold OS to be put out by the boys in Waterloo. I just installed OS version 4.6.0.150 on my Bold. Have only used it for a few minutes so far (seems ok), and will update this post as I spend some time with it.

Hopefully it will be leaked out soon via RapidShare or MediaFire so it's available for download by everyone

Thanks for that Kevin.

Do you think there is anything especially significant about this particular release (other than the fact it is the latest one of course!), or is it just yet another OS update for the Bold, in the line of many more still to come?

I hope this can sort out my 2G/3G problem. Been to see CPW and if I wanna return the handset I've got to have a major kick off with them.

Would some one be able to help me out by directing me to instructions on how to install the new OS. I currently have 4.6.0.125 and am having lots of problems with the Wifi and browser and am hopeing the new OS will fix these.

Just follow the instructions given in the first post of the 'sticky' Newest 9000 OS: 4.6.0.144 at the top of the Bold 9000 page.

The procedure is the same for later versions also.

Oh, and welcome to CB, by the way!

Edit: When you do decide to proceed do make sure that you remember Step 6 - Delete vendor.xml file. This is very important!

I shall be curious to try .150 when it eventually finds its way into the wild.

Only issues I had with .147 was with the Browser, I couldnt get on Vodafone Live at all, I think it must be something with Vodafone checking software versions or something when I try browsing.
