kevin you scored big time!

that's a sweet little unit. is it faster/slower than the curve? or so it seems...

let us know what kind of battery life you get out of it... can you do a "real world" test...?

Definitely faster than the Curve...it's FAST.

Lots of testing to do and reviews to write. Will report back as I get things up!

Great score! I just knew you would buy one. I think you even said once, (something to the effect of) "I'd do anything to get my hands on one of these babies." And I guess you were telling the truth! Will this phone have GPS as well once it hits the market?

(I can't wait to read the Review indepth.. Going to get food, and read the copy of the review I just printed, and show it off to my poor, unexpecting g/f.) I'll be glued to the Mobile forums in the meanwhile!

Kevin, great score on the 9000. So what will the RIM boys say at WES when you pull out one of their unreleased devices? Should be interesting........maybe reading that initial disclaimer would have been good? Can't wait for the rest of the reviews since this is the closest most of us will get for a long time to a 9000. Keep up the good work!

I think CrackBerry needs a review from all angles, not just how Kevin uses it. Send it to me and I'll write my review.

Well it was worth a shot wasn't it?

You evil little man! Why didn't you just tell us you were getting it? I wasn't gonna sit outside your house 'til I saw the USPS guy and say "I'm Kevin Michaluk, I got locked out of my house and I need this...", honest. *shifty eyes*

Kevin...I'll buy it from you. So until then; you should change your 'Device Model:' field to say '9000 for now'

Nice! Though someone at RIM is probably messing their shorts right now. An expose on their next-gen BB is not good for the company, investors, etc. Also, if that 9000 was originally illegally obtained, it's still the property of RIM and they may ask for it back.
