Red face

I probably am a rude BB user!
However its not all of the time.
I guess walking around the office texting or chatting on BB when there is construction going on could be hazardous.
Definitely not a good thing to do when your significant other is explaining to you how you pay more attention to 'it' more than them.
Driving while BB'ing is a no-no.

I think it is very rude when someone is in line to be waited on and the person working has to wait for the person in line to finish typing out his/her sms message.

I believe people should concentrate less on what other people are doing and more on there BB's. I'm sure I would find some situations where people are using there BB's rude if I actually wasn't using my BB at the time.

Never use your Blackberry while driving, except for phone calls.

etiquette, yes. rules, no.

Etiquette should be common for all cell phone use, bb or not.

The thing I think is the rudest is when someone is at an eatry and they are holding up the line yakking or emailing!

I do think it is annoying in meetings when you are trying to present and everyone is on their BB. BB's are great but at least show some courtesy.

Before i owned a blackberry while at work a customer came in complaining to me that he couldn't figure how to get "sent by a blackberry" on his signature at the end of an email. I knew nothing about BBs at this time as was no help to him and he was just being a real **** to me for not knowing anything about BBs or how to fix his problem (it was a status thing for him, so people KNEW he was on his BB) and he really turned me off to BBs, for i though all BB users were jerks.

Thanksfully thats not true!

I love my BB, but I can't stand it when people use them in restaurants, in classes, and at meetings. it's just rude and annoying.

Ok, after reading the posts in this thread I'd say yes there are some etiquette guidelines, BB or any cell for that matter. A FUNERAL!?!? That is just plain wrong!

I try to be as courteous as possible I guess.
