Need a replacement berry

Well I dropped my phone in water this past weekend, and I let it dry out. Its working now, keyword now. My service keeps going in and out. I want to get a replacement this weekend. I'm wondering can I just walk in and ask for an insurance claim? Will I be able to get one, or will I have to wait till it craps out completely before I can file a claim?

just tell them you got the phone wet and now its acting funny. as long as you pay the deductible you will be able to file.

But you need to CALL Ausurion and not just go to a store. The insurance company will need to initiate the claim process. They will tell you whether or not you can pick one up at a store or whether they will ship you one.

If you call 1-888-723-3360 (thats the number for Asurion), that will get your claim started. It just makes it faster if you already have the claim part going. That way, once you go into the store, its basically just activating the phone.
