Yeah, he got me good. I was forced to get a Pearl the 17th because the Treo 650 completely died. I'm hoping the sCurve comes out before my 30 days is up.

lol, lol, I ran to my "curve 8330" command center...I was grabbin s@#t...trying to open different tabs...lol that was funny. It shows how caught-up Ive been over this. Alright, Im definitely laughing at myself and steppin back a bit!

lol!!!!! IM sorry everybody. But that had to be done and im surprised someone else didn't pull this before me. I really want the curve to, but we all have to understand that we're dealing with Sprint wireless. the company that has the wrong cs of them all.

What we need to do is "ALL" call the retentions department at the same time to cancel or accounts. I bet you they will have answers then. then everybody that actually cancelled their can call back and say it was their son or daughter that actually called. so they can re-start your account.

again im so sorry for doing that to you guys. but i needed a laugh. my girlfriend just dumped me. lmao!!!!!!

I'm with Carolina on this- what's with the "DEMANDING!?" I mean really!! People want to be told something firm- I get that part; but the nonsense of canceling accounts, not sleeping and the gambit of stuff I've read regarding WHEN the Curve is coming has become old!

Just keep returning your Pearl every 29 days til the Curve comes out!
(1 day shy in case something comes up and you cant get to the store on the 30th and end up stuck with it)

I guess we are one of the few that are blessed with something called common sense. If I know Sprint doesnt know when the release date is, then why call them night and day and then complain about all the wrong answers I receive? Odds are if you are demanding an answer from them they are going to give you whatever info they have heard. To that rep giving the info they probably don't see it as "bad" customer service. They probably also think you are smart enough to know that nothing is set in stone and they are just casually telling you what they know at that minute. They are telling you what they heard. They arent calling you and telling you when the phone is coming out. They aren't telling you to leave your current provider because on 4/20 the 8330 is coming out. If that was the case then yes, you would have something to complain about. YOU are calling them asking for something you know they dont know!!!! uuhhhh hellllloo. Even when I asked the guy earlier he said "I would hate to tell you a date because we honestly don't know but we HAVE HEARD it was supposed to be today." Some people are having these poor reps ask their supervisors even after they say THEY DONT HAVE ANY INFO ON IT.

It's not uncommon for a Blackberry to not have an exact release date no matter who the carrier may be.

Good prank with the sprint.com thing, too bad April Fools Day was 20 days ago.

My friend that works in sales for Sprint just told me they heard June today. Remember now.. thats what she HEARD.

lol I told her not to tell any of the customers that or else they are going to say you have bad customer service skills. HAHAHA!! She said i'm damned if I do and i'm damned if I don't. She said if she tells them she doesn't have any solid info, they ask her why is she in sales if she doesn't know this kind of stuff. Some people just don't understand the business I guess.

hmmmm, maybe there's something to the May 22nd date on the phone that engadget has posted on their website.

I can't post links yet, but go to the sprint website followed by /curve and check out the date on the phone. The date on this phone says April 20th. This leads me to believe that the 20th was an accurate release date since this website has been posted for a while. But now May 22nd may be the next official date.
