Ok a little.. bad/interesting news. Just got off the phone with sprint. Their CS online/phone cannot access your account till the 9th (Friday) since SPRINT is doing a revamp of their current billing system.

I questioned the rep. I spoke with if I still would be able to purchase the phone on the release date tomorrow. I was shocked by her response.

"You will have to pay full price, since we do not have access to your account till friday."

Not sure how that works. Oh well.

I have bad news for all! Launch calendar now shows 5-9-08! I now have no reason to wake up in the morning.

That is closer to the dates of May10th and 12th that I got from my source.

5-9-08 if ordered through Telesales or Online due to shipping. Offical launch 5-7-08 is for Telesales, Online, in Store.

What I believe he is trying to say is that the phone won't ship until 5-9, although they are taking orders (probably a pre-order) starting 5-7.

Again we have too many dates floating around for anything to be solid. I'm just going to wait and see in the hope it releases before 5-16.

I do not see how people can ridicule someone with little or no posts and say they do not know what they are talking about. Isn't this an open forum? Can't we voice our opinions and give our experiences? No one said to take what we hear here as fact, just stating what is going on. The more opinions we get the better idea of the situation we can maintain. Most are confirming 7th for telesales and probably around the 10th for store/corporate sales. No one is really going past the 12th. I mean come on EVERYONE was wrong last month so why be so critical this month. Maybe everyone is just getting really crabby! LOL.
