Be nice if it were an IDEN Bold.

There is already a thread on this... please search before posting!!

And... you are the OP for the other post as well... makes no sense at all!!

This news isn't even 'thread worthy'... Nextel came out with a device that the other carriers have had for how long? Years!

And, what did they add?? PTT... *BEEP BEEP*. Who needs PTT anyhow? Nextel is outdated

http://forums.crackberry.com/f40/nex...-8350-a-47816/

Even if it was an IDEN Bold, who cares? You couldn't use the 3G on the Bold and you would get coverage in 5 cities

Take it easy fella...no need to get that upset. I did post in both forums because I have seen numerous threads in both concerning this topic. I believe this is "thread worthy" as there are some who are interested in this because of their relationship with Nextel whether it be personally or professionally. For us with a different opinion, it certainly is exciting.

And you are more than entitled to your opinion, but if you're happy with your carrier and your BB, then let it go. Nobody is taking shots at t-mobile over here...the post was strictly informative. I believe it "makes no sense at all" for you to be that vocal about this when you're not even with this carrier...again, we're all entitled to our opinions.

By the way, try supporting a real school...preferably one in the SEC...you're never gonna beat us!

Sorry if I came off as mad. I was being light-hearted about it. Notice the little emoticon guys... and I was taking a sarcastic tone through most of my post. I did not mean to sound disgruntled or pissed.

(But, FYI, it is against forum policy to cross-post threads... one will do )

And, Go Bucks!! I will root for them till the day I die... win or lose!!

Happy Crackin!

Happy Crackin!
No problem at all...I'm new to the site and came here strictly for this topic as my company uses Sprint/Nextel and are in the process of transitioning everyone to BB's. I know the Nextel side has a lot of issues, but when it's all you've got to work with, you get excited over little things!

And I was poking fun at ya about THE Ohio State University...they'll get over the hump!

Yeah... understandable!! My company uses Nextel and I have a little crappy Motorola for my company phone. I use my Berry for my personal device and to keep track of business!!

As for THE Ohio State University!! I knew you were poking fun at that ^^^ check my response

Welcome to CrackBerry!! Sorry I sounded p*ssy... I was more joking and sarcastic about how delayed Nextel and their damn device releases are! you have every right to be elated!!! It will be nice to have a new Berry for Nextel!!

I too am excited about this very welcome addition to the Nextel iDEN network. For those who are asking for Qchat... you don't want it. I have done alot of research on it and by most accounts it seems that Qchat is not as good as iDEN. The iDEN network may be getting old but most of us will leave sprint entirely before we switch to the Sprint network. of the 14M of us left only 400,000 have switched to the hybrid / powersource handsets. there is a reason. The handsets are less than impressive and the Sprint network is no better. I can speak from experience as my wife has the ic502 hybrid and I have the i930. we are currently switching to the BB 7520's until the new 8530's come out. I can tell you I am very happy these are iDEN only phones.

Sorry for the lengthy first post.

pretty much nextel is a network ment for the work place and not so much the typical user where as on the sprint side most of the bb they sell are the 8130 and the 8330 which are made for the typical user. now as for PTT most people are on nextel for it so its not useless and when they built the IDEN network they started with PTT then built voice around it so its what makes nextel, nextel. now as for the new bb ive gotten word that its going to be something in the 9000 but hey who knows it might be the 8350 just keep your figures crossed for the first one

I will be getting one as well. I use one for work and don't like having two phones.

I 'm getting rid of my i880 for a Curve tomorrow. I use to have the 7100i but didn't care for the design. This is good for those still with Nextel that love their PTT. Most of the peole I use to chirp gave theirs up so I'll be staying on the Sprint side even if this does make it to the market.
