Have a Pre but want the Tour

According the Sprint retail store my exchange/return date is determined by my getting the Pre originally on the 6th, not when I exchanged for the current one on the 16th of June, is that correct? Assuming that is true, what is going to be the best way of getting a Tour, since I sold my 8330?

You could go to the store and get a different phone, then use it till tour comes out and then take it back when the tour comes out. Sucks but that will work. Sprints system makes trading in phones in under 30 days quick.

I'm not sure he can do that. I think you're only allowed to make one trade. His best bet would to pick up a cheap dumbphone (from Craigslist, Ebay, friends, etc) and wait out the next couple of weeks.

The best way is to wait for the phone that best suits your needs is released and not getting that silly Palm toy. Ooops - sorry for the rant. I do apologize.

To be honest,
If the curve was lacking in some way that the Pre satisfied you i dont think the tour will be your solution... its just, at the end of the day, an evolutionairy improvement over the curve...aint nuttin whizzbang about it.

So if you got the pre cos you wanted the touchscreen, great graphics, but still with keyboard and multi-tasking..keep it.

Can I return the Pre and go back a day or two later and purchase a Curve, and exchange it when the Tour comes out?

No. I believe you get one return/exchange in that 30 day period. The returned phone is it. (excluding actual defects)

Sprint doesn't allow the multiple exchanges any longer. You're only allowed one exchange in a 30 day period. Guess they got wise to the antics of the CB nation.

PS - they also include the day the phone shipped in your 30 day count not the day you activated the phone.

Keep that in mind when you're counting your 30 days.
